The project
Automata lets Termux agents author routines as inspectable YAML or JSON. The Android app validates signed snapshots, activates them atomically, schedules triggers, executes native actions, and keeps a redacted audit trail.
Sensitive capabilities remain explicit and approval-gated, while the active automation state stays on the phone. The app is a private, sideload-first personal build and is not available in an app store.
A separate Automata Voice companion uses OpenAI Realtime over WebRTC for continuous conversation and delegates bounded execution through a signature-protected bridge. Its APK is built and staged, but final live voice-to-action acceptance is still in progress.
